My most recent work involves creating non-derivative drawings and paintings from random marks. No attempt has been made to reference natural reality, but rather to produce unique environments which rely on traditional painting and drawing techniques for their formal structure and composition. Some of these pieces appear somewhat rhythmic to me, hence the musical titles.
